YOUR PATH FORWARD
Get More From Your Ketamine Treatment
Ketamine can open a window of insight, emotional release, and neuroplasticity. What happens in the days and weeks after each session matters greatly. Integration gives you a structured, clinical space to make sense of your experience and turn it into real change in how you think, feel, and live.
Set clear goals and intentions before treatment
Extend the window of change after each session
Process difficult or confusing experiences safely
Make sense of what came up during your sessions
Reduce the risk of slipping back into old patterns
Build tools that last beyond your treatment
UNDERSTANDING INTEGRATION
What is Integration Therapy?
Ketamine integration therapy is psychotherapy that supports you before and after your ketamine treatment. Ketamine is widely used in local clinics for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other conditions, through IV infusions, IM injections, lozenges, and esketamine (Spravato).
The medicine creates the opening for new insights into yourself. Integration therapy helps you apply it and grow from it.
Studies show there is a period of increased neuroplasticity in the brain, after ketamine dosing - this means the brain is more flexible and open to new patterns. Without integration support, insights can fade and old patterns can return.
With integration therapy, those insights are anchored long term into new ways of thinking, feeling, and responding.
It is important to note that integration therapy is different from ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). In KAP, therapy happens during the dosing session at the ketamine clinic. In integration therapy, your therapist works with you in separate sessions in the days before dosing, then in the weeks after dosing, while your clinic continues to manage the medical side of your care.

WHY OUR APPROACH WORKS
Why Brain-Based IntegrationTherapy
Gets More From Ketamine
Ketamine works on the brain, so integration therapy should too. Talk therapy alone can leave insights stuck at the level of just understanding. Our brain-based approaches work with the nervous system directly, helping new patterns take hold while the brain is still most open to change. Rapid Resolution Therapy, Brainspotting, EMDR, and Clinical Hypnotherapy each offer a different way to deepen ketamine integration therapy, and we tailor them to your goals and treatment plan. Learn about all of our therapy methods here.
Reprocess distressing memories and reduce the emotional charge associated with them.
Clear things up fast by using precise eye positioning to access your subconscious processes.
Get clear by tapping into the most responsive part of your brain, creating change without so much effort.
Clear up that thing that’s been keeping you stuck, through experiential, neuroscience-based mechanisms.
Our philosophy
Ketamine opens the door. Integration therapy helps you walk through it.
We believe ketamine works best as part of a plan. A single session can shift perspective quickly, but lasting change comes from what you do with that shift. Our brain-based integration therapy aligns your conscious and subconscious mind so new insights become new patterns.
At FreeMind Therapy, we don’t like to waste time. Every ketamine integration therapy plan is personalized to your goals, your treatment schedule, and your pace, with therapists trained in advanced, neuroscience-based modalities.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A Simple, Supportive Process
Our ketamine integration therapy process is clear, collaborative, and built around your treatment schedule.
Schedule a 20min consult to discuss your goals, your treatment plan, and how integration therapy works. If it feels like a good fit, book your prep session at the end of the call.
Book a Consultation
Before your first ketamine dosing session, your therapist helps you clarify goals, set intentions, and know what to expect. Together you’ll decide on the number of sessions, typically 4 to 6 integration therapy sessions in total.
Initial Assessment & Plan
Integration Sessions
After each treatment, you’ll meet your therapist to process your experience, make meaning of what came up, and apply it to daily life using experiential therapy techniques.
We track progress toward your goals and adjust as needed. If you continue treatment, integration therapy can continue alongside it, or move to maintenance as needed, with less frequent sessions over time.
